Jesus Sanchez
Senior 2D Game artist and illustrator
Lisbon, Portugal

Mexican by nature and Portuguese by choice, I'm a seasoned game artist with over 12 years of experience in bringing characters and worlds to life. I've worked across a wide range of gaming platforms—from browser and mobile games to slots—creating everything from characters and immersive backgrounds to dynamic props, UI elements, and marketing materials. My artistic style leans toward the whimsical and stylized, often adding a cartoon-like charm to reality.

Throughout my career, I've had the chance to work in diverse settings, from small mobile startups to multinational gambling corporations. This variety has helped me understand the industry's processes and fine-tune my ability to collaborate with developers, designers, and fellow artists. I enjoy having ownership over my work and ensuring seamless integration across engines like WebGL and Unity to deliver an engaging gaming experience.

My creativity draws from a mix of video games, comics, animation, movies, and the cultural experiences I’ve gathered while traveling. Currently based in Lisbon, I continue to find inspiration in every corner of this beautiful country.

In addition to my full-time work as a game artist since 2012, I've also been freelancing as an illustrator since 2006.
